Tap each point and Squaddie moves the serve and the rotation for you, then shows where you win and lose rallies: side-out percentage by rotation, serve and pass numbers, and per-player totals.

A tally of kills and errors does not tell a coach what to fix. What usually matters is where the problem happens: which rotation, serving or receiving, and whether the setter is in the front or back row. Because the tracker advances the serve and the rotation on every point, those answers come for free.
Live tracking is built for one person on the bench with a phone: big buttons, undo on every action, the screen stays awake, and nothing is lost if the signal drops.
One tap per rally. Serving team, rotation and libero swaps update automatically.
Tag a point as a kill, ace, block or error and pick the player, only when you have time.
Rate serve receive from 0 to 3 and log digs per player to see who is stabilising your first contact.
Substitutions are checked against your set rules (limit and re-entry), and timeouts are logged per set.
Every tap is saved on the phone first and syncs when you are back online. A killed app picks up where it left off.
Type or use your keyboard's dictation, such as "number 4 kill". Squaddie suggests the stat and you confirm it before it is saved.
| Stat | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Side-out % by rotation | How often you win the rally when the other team serves, for each of R1 to R6. |
| Points on serve by rotation | How many rallies you win when you serve, so you can see which rotation scores for you. |
| Kills and attack errors | Per player, from the points you choose to tag. |
| Aces and serve errors | Per player, plus serve-in percentage across the season. |
| Blocks and digs | Per player, from tagged points and logged digs. |
| Pass average (0 to 3) | Serve-receive quality per player and for the team. |
| Set scores, subs and timeouts | A set-by-set summary of the match. |
Tagging is optional. The more you tag, the more per-player detail you get; the rotation numbers need only the points.
The match page on the web app shows the score, side-out percentage and the weakest rotation. Open it for the full breakdown.
Download a match or the whole season as CSV or Excel to share with a club or federation.
Squaddie suggests one to three things to work on, such as a leaking rotation or serve errors, using simple rules on your last two matches.
Generate a first-draft training session around that focus, then adjust it. See the volleyball coaching app for the full toolkit.
Track the rally with the serving team and rotation attached, and tag the how and who only when you can. That lets you see side-out percentage by rotation first, which is usually the most useful number, and add per-player detail on top.
Creating a team is free. The live match tracker is part of the Individual Coach plan, and team managers and club or school admins can also track. See pricing.
