What the AI lineup builder actually does
The rules behind it are the ones a careful coach would use: players who said they are unavailable are never picked, players who have not replied come after those who said yes, and anyone you mark as must-play is included. With "equal court time" the AI spreads positions; with "settled positions" it keeps players in their main spot first.
You are always in control. Swap any player, lock someone in, or regenerate a quarter. If the AI is unavailable, Squaddie falls back to the same rules without it.
